Tony got his bike back

Tony got his bike back after it was stolen out of our yard yesterday.  The perpetraitors had the nerve to ride the bike in front of our house today.  Tony the tiger went and got his bike.  He can be a gentle lamb, but he is not to be crossed.  I am thankful he is such a man man! 

Patience

She, my little one, is pushing me. I know what it is...I don't know
how to help her. I know that she is capable, but her reasoning
abilities are limited.

Wouldn't you be with a demanding mother breathing down you
neck...barely being civil to you.

Yes, but I just had the fact that financially I can't provide her with a better education.

You can...from you, but you need to need to be patient. Find another perspective.

Like what?

Like being scared and wanting to please. Make it easier for her to please you. Celebrate her accomplishments.

But she is so far behind.

By whose standards? And you said she was smart, but maybe not in the way you or they want her to be.

A Good Day

I had a good day. I wrote the intro for Chpt. 4. We went food
shopping. Tone was a nut...a loveable nut...due to him I could not
remain in control...I had to let go and relax and we still
accomplished a great deal.

Trust him.

I am learning how to let him lead. We also worked in the yard. Tone
planted two rose bushes. I love the gardening, not because I like
digging in dirt or a hurting back, but because Tone and I do it
together and year-after-year we see the new bloomes and remember when
we planted a set. Like children growing.

The kids are ok. The little boy is pushing his boundaried and and we
are trying to let him be, but teach him that he has to listen and have
patience. The little girl is trying in other ways...she is great at
behaving, but struggling academically. I am not sure how to help her.

Let her be.

But she is faling behind even more.

Let her be. Love her unconditionally.

I do.

Do you?

Yes.

But she is not living up to your expectations.

No, but if I push her she will.

If you push her she will fall.

What do I need to do?

Love her.

How?

Accept that she does not get things as quickly as others. Acknowledge
what she does know and get. Be consistent with her. Show her the joy
in learning about things and how to do things.

Today in my b-day

I am 38 today. I am happy. I have mail the first 3 chapters of the book to the editor. I am content. Things are not perfect, but I have money to do things that I want to do. We are all relatively healthy. I am happy. I work with some really good people. I am happy. Thank you God for all the blessings.

President Obama

Today we have a new president, new leadership and I am excited and ready to do my part. My kids will grow up in a world where they will never know a time when they could not dream about really doing the work needed to become president or national leader.

Simple Reminders

After 15 hours on the road...we made it home safely. I decide to take
care of me and stay home. Tony and I have set a date...for the
nuptuals.

Talking to a friend

I am talking to friend that I have not spoken to in along time. She
is an inspiration. Gave me some great hair care product ideas (UBH).
